What led you to collaborate with DIFF Eyewear for this collection?

Marky and I have been big fans of Diff eyewear, and I love the charitable aspect of the brand. It’s been a dream come true designing our own collection with them.

How would you describe the aesthetic of this collection?

Our collection is classic and perfect to wear everyday. The sunglasses look great dressed up, or you can wear them for a day at the beach.

How do you want people to feel when wearing your collection?

Sunglasses should be an extension of your outfit and reflect your style. We wanted our collection to be classic and make you feel sophisticated even wearing them with simple everyday outfits.

What made you want to start a new career as a lifestyle influencer?

Instagram started as a fun hobby for me when I was working in corporate accounting. It was a way for me to share my style and connect with an incredible community—I’m so thankful for the ability to share our life with the world.

Out of all your accomplishments, what are you the most proud of?

Marky and I started off with nothing and have created our dream life together. I’m so proud of our relationship and the way we’ve been able to run a business side by side. This year we celebrated our 14 year wedding anniversary as well as 6 years working hand in hand.

It feels like you've created a really positive community online. Why is positivity so important?

Positivity is so important because how you think affects how you feel. I saw a quote once that said “being positive isn’t pretending that everything is good—it’s seeing good in everything”. That really stuck with me. Having that mindset will change your life in a positive way. Sincerely,
